Food distribution during Lockdown Covid-19

“When you give to the poor, it is like lending to the Lord, and the Lord will pay you back.” Proverb 19:17

Pandemic Covid- 19 emergency was psychologically tense and created an uncertain situation during 2020-21 and it still carries the fear. Throughout the country Corona pandemic had negative impact. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in unprecedented increase in food insecurity fueled by an economic recession and increasing unemployment rates. Pandemic increment the demand for food around the country. We have experienced so much hardship during Pandemic.

God’s Little Angels team took immediate response to make certain the provision of basic food supplies and have identified and approached the most destitute and deprived. We are able to reach the unreached. GLA distributed essential food packages to poor families who were severely affected by COVID-19 and needed our help. When we give generously and sacrificially, we show our love for LORD. Giving is an expression of obedience, gratitude, trust and increasing joy. God seeks out and recognizes those who worship HIM.

The distribution was a success, and we provided hundreds of families with necessities and spiritual support from our prayer group. Not only did we make a difference in each of their lives, but helping and serving others renewed us as a congregation.
